The photograph, of the new public enemy number one depicts that the leader of the Sinaloa cartel is Chicago’s new public enemy number one. It was taken in Guatemala where Guzman was captured in 1992. During this time Guzman is still on the run and shows no signs of been captured anytime soon. In the image, the artist tries to show the public who the criminal is. The piece is significant because It’s informing the people that there is a new public enemy that is more menacing than Al Capone. This had a major impact because its made the hunt for Guzman more serious. On the whole, this image is exciting because I think its pretty awesome because I know a lot about him.
